To ensure an exceptional and smooth salon experience, please take a moment to carefully review the following policies before booking your appointment:
📅 APPOINTMENT POLICY
• All appointments must be booked online via Vagaro. Walk-ins are not accepted.
• Referred clients must create their own Vagaro profile and book independently. For privacy and accountability, sharing login details to book for someone else is strictly prohibited.
• Services are available for clients ages 16 and older only.
• A deposit is required to secure your appointment. This applies to:
• All initial bookings
• Any rebooked appointments
• In-person bookings made at the salon
😷 HEALTH & SAFETY GUIDELINES
• Face masks are now optional inside the salon suite.
• If you are experiencing symptoms of a cold, flu, or COVID-19, do not attend your appointment. Please notify your stylist to cancel. Failure to comply may result in permanent termination of services.
🏠 SALON SUITE RULES
• You may work remotely (i.e., on a phone or laptop) during your appointment, as long as it does not interfere with the service or timing.
• Background noise is normal within the salon environment.
• Children are not permitted in the salon suite at any time.
• Extra guests and pets are not allowed inside the salon suite.
• Vlogging, video recording, or any form of media capture is not permitted during services.
• Full meals are not allowed. Beverages and light snacks are welcome.
🛑 SERVICE MENU
• Only the services listed on the salon’s official service menu are available.
• No exceptions or custom requests will be honored outside of what’s listed.
🎨 COLOR SERVICES
• At this time, color services are not being offered — for natural hair or extensions.
• Any requests for color services will be respectfully declined.
❌ CANCELLATION & LATE POLICY
• All deposits are non-refundable. In rare emergency situations, a refund may be issued at the stylist’s discretion.
• Cancellations at any time will result in forfeiture of the deposit.
• Deposits are not transferable. A new deposit is required for rebooking.
• No-call/no-show clients will be charged the full cost of services booked.
• A 5-minute grace period is offered. After that, late fees will apply.
• Appointments arriving more than 10 minutes late may be canceled if they conflict with another scheduled appointment. A cancellation fee will apply.
• The stylist reserves the right to refuse service at any time if policies are not followed.
💇🏾♀️ HAIR EXTENSIONS POLICY
• Hair extensions are not supplied or stored by the stylist.
• Any hair left behind will be discarded the same day.
• ShantaeDenise is not responsible for any hair or hair products brought in by the client.
• We are no longer offering coloring services for hair extensions.
• All prep work must be completed prior to your appointment.
• Bundles must be dropped off 5–7 business days before your scheduled install date.
